Perhaps the most technical part of the challenge, Kayaking was made even more difficult by pouring rain. Luckily, a relatively safe mode of water transport was on hand to support the Kayakers. Everyone was wet today, no matter what sport they were doing. The swimmers, however, were the wettest of the lot. The swimmers were all appropriately dressed... ...except for Fabiano, as usual. The runners transfer to the swimmers; the swimmers hand-off to kayakers10k, 20k and 30k runners all finished their runs and all are feeling well! Thirteen runners finished up a great 10k run in Morges, where we were welcomed by professor Jan Kubes, partners, kids and classmates. After a quick drink of water and a few cheers, 20k runners were joined by the 30k runners and continued on to Allaman.

After more than 240 kms with heavy rain in the morning, climbing from 600 to 2000m to the Klausen pass and 3 flat tires, the day team (Mike / Craig / Jie / Lars / Aaron W / Ihab / Eric / Stefanus / Barbara / Cristianne / Satochi / David R / Frank) arrived at Brienz at 18h40 with everybody tired but in good physical condition. After a tough beginning (heavy rain), the weather has improved notably. It is now under a beautiful blue sky and after 2 flat tire that our "day riders" are attacking one of the most difficult part of the way: the ascension to the Klausen Pass at 2000m!! yes 2000m!Team 4 took over (Mike / Craig / Jie / Lars) and will ride up hill during the next 2h!Surely, we will have a future "Tour de France"
