After more than 240 kms with heavy rain in the morning, climbing from 600 to 2000m to the Klausen pass and 3 flat tires, the day team (Mike / Craig / Jie / Lars / Aaron W / Ihab / Eric / Stefanus / Barbara / Cristianne / Satochi / David R / Frank) arrived at Brienz at 18h40 with everybody tired but in good physical condition. It is more than 2 hours behind schedule but we still have enough buffer to reach Geneva following the initial plan.
Very special note for David Robertson who cycled 240kms! When I am 47y old I would love (dream!) to be able to achieve such performance!
The "night riders" (Bernard / Nanang / Raphael / Carolina / Luis / Nicolas B / Omar / Ken / Jodok / Cristianne / Mike / Craig) took over and are expected to arrive in Pully tommorow between 5 and 6.30 AM. They will cycle through the night and handle the cold weather, fatigue and difficult orientation to make our challenge a reality for our project : Hands on Argentina (HOA).
Team 6 (Cristianne / Mike / Craig / Nanang) cycled all the way until Interlaken.
Team 7 (Omar / Luis / Carolina / Jodok) are currently making their way to reach Thun.
The condition are good and the road is relatively flat (from 300-900m max).
We wish them a safe trip until Pully and address a huge BRAVO to all the MBA 2006 athletes!
SK, live from the front for HOA
PS : I am sure that an encouraging call would be appreciated by our courageous classmates so do not hesitate to send an sms or make a quick call! tx

Still 500 meters to go - Uphill!
Our crew (team 4) has still 500m to go to make it to the top of Klausen Pass...and it is tough. Mike, Craig, Jie and Lars won't give up and fight to reach the Pass.
Weather is fine for the moment and they can already see the snow on the peak. The following hour will be crucial in order to maintain the schedule.
GO TEAM!!!

12:30 update from cycling team
After a tough beginning (heavy rain), the weather has improved notably. It is now under a beautiful blue sky and after 2 flat tire that our "day riders" are attacking one of the most difficult part of the way: the ascension to the Klausen Pass at 2000m!! yes 2000m!
Team 4 took over (Mike / Craig / Jie / Lars) and will ride up hill during the next 2h!
Surely, we will have a future "Tour de France" champion out of this team!!

Latest update: It's raining!
The team is currently facing very adverse weather conditions: it rained extremely hard and Barbara / Eric and Frank are literally soaked. They handed over to team 3 at 10h30 - Stefanus / Satochi / Ihab and David R. Amid the difficulties the team is sticking to the timing showing courage and resilience. Keep on!!
